Small Business Credit Cards
Running your businesses from home is THE TREND in the US and Worldwide. The number of small home offices in the US alone currently accounts for well over 40 million businesses, with a new addition every few seconds. This fact cannot go past the major credit-card companies, which are aggressively courting small businesses. To make payroll obligations, online purchases, to help with cash-flow difficulties, and acquiring more capital, small-business credit cards may be the solution. Some business credit cards are offering unsecured credit lines of up to $50,000 or even up to $100,000. The funds can be accessed by credit card payments, credit card checks or ATMs. Most cards offer quarterly or annual spending reports to help monitor expenses and to identify business-related tax deductions. More often than not, they offer perks such as reward points, frequent-flier miles, or discounts on merchandise at various retailers. To be eligible for a small business credit card, you generally need revenues of less than $10 million and/or fewer than one hundred employees. Although Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and Discover® all brands these cards, mostly individual banks offer them, so you are welcome to shop around for the best deals.
